Coming February 2015

Mac McClelland, an extraordinary young journalist, was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder after years covering the horrific aftermath of war and natural disaster. Shortly thereafter, Mother Jones sent her to cover PTSD’s effects on veterans’ families, and she found herself both covering and recovering on the journey.

Her memoir tells the story of the two years between Mac’s diagnosis and healing, a time in which she met, struggled to love, and finally married the love of her life, a French soldier she first met in Port-au- Prince.
